Persons usually come to Hope Counseling Services for help with:
- Marriage and family issues.
- Problems with personal life such as anxiety, depression, doubt, a sense of failure or a lack of fulfillment.
- Coping with loss or grief.
- Emotional or spiritual problems related to physical illness.
- Problems of conscience or guilt about behavior or a conflict of values.
- The dilemmas of aging, parenting or growing up.
- Alcohol or substance abuse.
- Pain and stress management.
During the initial visit, clients complete a basic information form. They then talk with a therapist. The focus in the beginning is on understanding the client’s needs and developing clear goals for the counseling process.
